This event featured Junia Janvier, a recent Computer Science graduate from Boston University and current Product Associate at Capital One in the US Card Partnerships space. Ms. Janvier shared her experiences at BU Spark!, including her role as the creator of the DS 291 course and her position as the founding Project Manager of the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Initiative.
Ms. Janvier also shared insights into Capital One’s culture, business goals, and how JEDI principles are integrated into the Product Manager workflow. She included real case examples, interactive components, and a question-and-answer session, which collectively provided attendees with an understanding of the responsibilities of a Product Manager at Capital One and the significance of DEI within the technology sector.
